Corporate & Commercial
Companies, contracts, SECP, arbitration.
Filings: days · Recovery: months
Businesses in the twin cities need counsel who read a term sheet as carefully as a plaint. I draft and negotiate commercial contracts, advise on company law and SECP compliance, and appear in recovery suits and arbitrations for owners, directors and growing companies.
I prefer to prevent disputes: clear contracts, recorded board decisions, and a paper trail that will stand in court if it has to. When a dispute is already live, I give a commercial view — settle, sue, or arbitrate — with the cost and the relationship in mind.
I take instructions from technology companies, trading houses, property developers and professional practices in Islamabad and Rawalpindi, and from family businesses that have outgrown informal arrangements.
- Incorporation and SECP filings
- Shareholders’ and joint-venture agreements
- Commercial contracts and terms of trade
- Recovery suits and injunctions
- Arbitration and settlement
- Ongoing retainer for growing companies
Bring to the first meeting
The company documents, the contract, correspondence, and — if a recovery or arbitration has begun — the forum and the last order.
Questions
On corporate & commercial.
Can you incorporate a company and remain on retainer?
Yes. Incorporation is often the start of a continuing instruction — employment contracts, vendor agreements, and a yearly compliance calendar. A written fee for the set-up and a separate retainer for ongoing work keeps the arrangement clean.
